activities comply with current regulations.
Our carefully prepared Health & Safety Policy details all of our commitments to this cause. We also have the knowledge and experience to ensure
that the various forms of necessary documentation are always in place to accompany this.
It is the firm policy of this Company to take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety, health and welfare of all employees in fulfilment of its moral,
legal and economic responsibilities. These measures will also be aimed at protecting others who may be affected by our day to day working activities.
It is a management function to provide the right circumstances under which work may be carried out safely. However, all employees must understand that
they have a legal duty not only to work in a safe manner, but also to co-operate with the management in any efforts to carry out their responsibilities.
The Company will maintain close co-operation with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, Enforcement Officers and Safety Advisers to ensure, so far as is
reasonably practicable that procedures and practices are satisfactory. The Company will ensure that every possible assistance is given to clients in regard
to safety requirements.
The Company will make every reasonable effort to promote amongst its employees a genuine awareness of safety matters and to create an understanding of the
importance of safe working practices and the use of protective clothing and safety aids. Employees will be encouraged to involve themselves fully in the
safety activities and the reporting of unsafe conditions or practices. Particular importance will be paid to the requirements of the Construction (Design
and Management) Regulations 2007 and ACOP, Working at Height Regulations 2005, Management of Health and Safety and COSHH Regulations and employees will be
required to abide by assessments made by the Company.
The Company will establish appropriate documentation procedures and will define responsibility and accountability for safety at all levels. The Company is
provided with the services of a Safety Consultant by Safety and Training Services who are appointed to advise on all safety matters in accordance with the
Management of Health and Safety at Work. The Director responsible for health and safety is Mr M A Camilleri.
The Company will permit such safety representation as prescribed under the Health and Safety (Consultation with Employees) Regulations 1996 and the Safety
Representatives and Safety Committees Regulations 1976 and will consult with such Safety Representatives on all matters appertaining to health and safety.
This policy statement may be amended, monitored and added to from time to time and a copy will be issued to all employees. In addition, a copy will be
displayed at Head Office.
Project specific C.O.S.H.H. assessments are produced for each and every contract undertaken. These are forwarded to our clients for their own information and for
inclusion within the Building Manual. They are also provided for the information of our employees.
Project specific Method Statements are produced for each and every contract undertaken. These are prepared well in advance of our commencement on site and are
forwarded to our clients to ensure that they are familiar with our working procedures and approve.
From time to time additional elements are added to our roofing packages in order to simplify the working process from the Main Contractor or client's point of view. Where
this involves the appointment of a specialist sub-contractor, we have a stringent vetting procedure to ensure that all companies under our employ share our full
commitment to ensuring the very highest level of Health & Safety.

On many occasions, we have been required to carry out contracts taking the role of Principal Contractor. We therefore have the knowledge and ability to fulfill
the numerous additional responsibilities and requirements which this role carries, as set out under the C.D.M. regulations. Subsequently, we are more than happy
to tender for projects on this basis.
We have been secured Silver Safety awards from the National Federation of Roofing Contractors in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 as well as Gold Safety awards every year from 2003 to present.
We were also awarded further prizes in 2007 & 2008 for achieving the highest scores in our discipline, in the independent N.F.R.C. assessment process for these Safety Awards.
