Our training strategy is a director-led initiative, covering all ranges of disciplines relevant to our roofing activities. This strategy has allowed us to develop a training programme that ensures our employees gain the training and qualifications that enable them to carry out their duties in a safe and competent manner.

Our Health and Safety Manager holds both the NEBOSH General and Construction Certificates.

All employees (Directors, Managers, Supervisors and Operatives) are fully trained under the CITB - ConstructionSkills Site Safety Plus Scheme.

Our Directors hold the Director's Health & Safety Responsibility qualification, Managers hold the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (5 Day) qualification, Supervisors hold the Site Supervisor's Safety Training Scheme (2 Day) qualification and all operatives hold the Health and Safety Awareness (1 Day) qualification.

All employees hold relevant CSCS Cards, with specified employees also holding relevant CPCS cards.

All site operatives are trained in Safe Working at Height, in addition to having passed the CITB - ConstructionSkills Health, Safety and Environment (Specialist Work at Height) Test.

All site operatives hold, or are currently working towards, the NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations.

In addition to the above, the following courses are all mandatory for our site operatives: Specified personnel are also trained in plant operations - including Telehandlers, Counterbalance Forklifts, Hoists, MEWPS, Slinger/Banksperson, Lifting Supervisors, under the following schemes: IPAF, CPCS, PASMA, as well as leadwork - LSA Lead Bossing & Welding and BOC Gas Safety.
